St Attracta’s to face St Colman’s in senior league final



St Attracta’s Community School now know their opponents for this year’s Connacht Senior A League final.

The Tubbercurry school will face St Colman’s from Claremorris in the final, after the Mayo school beat Westport’s Rice College by 14 points to 12 in Wednesday’s semi-final at Mulvey Park in Castlebar.

St Attracta’s beat St Muredach’s of Ballina in last week’s first semi-final, and are looking to go one better than last year when they lost out to Summerhill College in the decider.

Meanwhile, St Attracta’s junior side are also preparing for an A League final.

They will take on St Jarlath’s College of Tuam in their decider on Monday, December 5, at 12.30pm at the Connacht GAA Centre in Bekan.

The south Sligo school’s first year team host Carrick-on-Shannon Community school in a First Year B tie on Thursday at 12.30pm.
