Dignitaries to attend service of remembrance in Calry



A service of rememberance and reconciliation to remember all those who died in World War 1 will be held in Sligo next week.

It’s to recognise the pupils of Sligo Grammar School who died in the war as well as members of An Garda Siochana and those in the Defence Forces who died as part of their european and international duties .

The Papal Nuncio Charles Brown, Bishop of Elphin Kevin Doran and government Ministers including Health Humphreys will attend the event.

It’s on at 11am next Monday in Calry Church.
