The Health Service Executive have been commended by a Donegal Fianna Fail TD for getting the X-ray unit at Donegal Community Hospital back to full service.
The X-ray unit at the hospital which broke down at the end of August is once again fully operational and open to the public after essential repair work was completed.
The original x-ray unit was paid for by voluntary contributions from the local community and there were fears the same would have to be done to replace it.
Deputy Pat ‘The Cope’ Gallagher praised the HSE and said the return of the service is great for Donegal Town.
