Tackling racism is the focus of a symposium in Sligo today



Tackling racism is one of the key challenges in all societies around the world.

That will be one of a number of issues to be discussed at an intercultural symposium in Sligo today.

The symposium called “Advancing the Conversation on Racism in Ireland” takes place this morning from 9:30am in the Glasshouse hotel.

A number of speakers including Rory O’Neill from the Irish Refugee Council will speak at the event.
