Taoiseach warns Brexit negotiations could get nasty



The Taoiseach has warned that Ireland could damage its relationship with Britain by ‘outstaying its welcome’ in Brexit talks.

Enda Kenny made his remarks at the All Island forum on Brexit – and said there’s no stopping the UK Prime Minister from triggering Article 50 before the March deadline. says Britain’s exit from the EU could turn ‘vicious’.

Over 300 political, business and cultural groups are raising their concerns at the forum.

But Taoiseach Enda Kenny says the Government needs to be careful:

He also warned that the talks could become ‘vicious’ as he says some EU members are angry at Britain for voting to leave.
