Donegal TD calls for faster progress on new Gaelscoil

There are now hopes that a design team will soon be in consultation with the board of management of Gaelscoil na gCeithre Maistri in Donegal town to design a new school.

Following the design and planning stage, the next stages are tendering and construction.

Donegal Fiannna Fail Deputy Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher says he is disappointed that the project is moving at an extremely slow pace.

The school is presently operating out of a number of prefabs.

Deputy Gallagher has called for the project to now proceed without further delay and for funding to be specifically eamarked for the building of the new school.
