Collooney road reopens following crash



The Collooney to Ballygawley road has reopened following a crash yesterday evening.

Eir has repaired a poll that was damaged during the single-vehicle collision which happened at Ballygrania at about half past six yesterday evening.

A car overturned and two people fled the scene following the crash.

The Gardai have confirmed that they are investigating the incident but they are following a definite line of inquiry.

Meanwhile, work on the Ballygawley to Carraroe section of the R284 has been cancelled today as a result of the crash to facilitate diverted traffic earlier and that work is expected to get underway tomorrow.
