Sligo businessman concerned for future of town & county



A leading Sligo businessman says he is concerned for the futurte of his town and county.

President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, Anthony Gray, says if rural Ireland contines to be forgotten and neglected, it will be destroyed.

He says Sligo is surviving but definitely not thriving, and that it is a declining county that requires rapid investment.

And, as he told Ocean Fm; Brexit, weaker Sterling and cross-border shopping are all worrying.
