Employers in the west of Ireland are now looking for IT specialists, engineers, software developers and data analysts.
And the place to find out more about these jobs is at an event called TechWest 2016 that will take place in the Gibson Hotel in Dublin tomorrow, Wednesday, from 5pm to 8pm.
High-tech companies in the west and mid-west have at least 60 jobs currently available, with up to 100 expected to be on offer before the end of the year.
For some people, it may be the ideal opportunity to move to the west of Ireland to work.
TechWest 2016 is being run in conjunction with the Western Development Commission.
It is organised by Recruitment and HR service group Collins McNicholas , the only national recruitment company headquartered outside Dublin.
Collins McNicholas was established in 1990 and has offices in Galway, Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Athlone.
