Sligo to Dublin train deemed ‘unsafe’ by North West MEP

A north west MEP has described overcrowding on the Sligo/Dublin train last Friday afternoon as having been ‘unsafe’ . Marian Harkin was on the 1pm train from Connolly Station to Sligo.

She says there were many people who could not get seats, with the result they had to stand. Speaking after her journey to Ocean FM News, she says this happens regularly on a Friday afternoon.
