McGee to miss Monaghan clash as suspension upheld

Donegal defender Neil McGee will miss Saturday’s Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final against Monaghan.

The GAA’s Central Hearings Committee has upheld the disciplinary action against the Gaoth Dobhair clubman following his sending-off in the quarter-final defeat of Fermanagh.

McGee will also miss Donegal’s next game in the championship after being hit with a two-game ban for a repeat offence.

Saturday’s semi-final throws-in at 7pm in Cavan’s Breffni Park and will be live on Ocean FM in association with Donegal Plumbing & Bathroom Supplies.

Donegal boss Rory Gallagher says that Karl Lacey and Neil Gallagher, who both missed the Fermanagh game through injury, could come back into contention for this weekend…
