Curator of Donegal museum appointed to board of National Museum



The curator of Donegal County Museum has been appointed to the board of the National Museum of Ireland.

Judith McCarthy’s appointment was annonced by the Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys.

McCarthy has been curator of Donegal County Museum for more than 20 years.

She says it’s experience that will guide her in her new role as a board member of what is one of the country’s foremost national cultural institutions.
