Jobseekers are going to have the opportunity to avail of free college places in IT Sligo and Letterkenny IT.
It’s all thanks to the new Springboard+ 2016 programme, a government funded initiative which provides free, part time, accredited training programmes for those who are currently seeking work.
Both IT Sligo and Letterkenny IT are offering places in science, technology and engineering related courses.
Springboard project co-ordinator at the college, Jean Gilligan, outlined to Ocean FM what the initiative entails.
