It’s emerged Gardai investigating the disappearance of Dublin schoolboy Philip Cairns have already conducted a walking search of a field on the Tallaght side of the Dublin Mountains.
This follows reports the now deceased paedophile Eamon Cooke buried a container 20 foot underground, at the site.
The Irish Independent’s Crime journalist Paul Williams who is from Ballimore in county Leitrim says more than 30 years ago, witnesses saw the serial child abuser using a digger in the field.
He says at the time, people believed Cooke was trying to build a transmitter system for his pirate radio station:
