Much preparation has already gone into the planning of the Sligo Stages Rally 2016 which takes place on Sunday, July 10.
Being round 4 of the Sligo Pallets Border Rally Championship it is expected to attract near the maximum field of 131 crews. The event opened for receipt of entries last week and will remain open until closing date in early July.
Joe Corcoran, clerk of the course, is confident that his three-stage loop selected will appeal to both local and visiting crews.
The event committee are delighted to come together with North West Hospice in using the Sligo Stages Rally as a platform to highlight awareness and enable fundraising over the rally weekend, for what is a very worthy cause.
