Denis Smyth, St Brigid’s Place, Sligo. Unexpectedly at Sligo University Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 11.30 am this morning, Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery.

 

Canon Michael Ryan, retired Parish Priest of St. Bride’s, East Kilbride, Glasgow, Scotland and formerly of Gurteen, Co. Sligo. Brother of Nicholas, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, Dermot, Exeter, England, Daphne Dowd, Boston, U.S.A. and Marie Vaughan, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. Removal from Glasgow to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, arriving at 6pm on Saturday 11th June. Mass of the resurrection on Sunday at 2pm with burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

 

Lily Mc Morrow, (Nee Gilmore) Oakfield, Sligo. Peacefully at St. John’s Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard today from 12 noon with removal at 1.30pm to St. Anne’s Church of Ireland, Strandhill, Co. Sligo arriving for Funeral Service at 2pm with burial in St. Anne’s Churchyard afterwards.

 

Patrick ‘Paddy’ Travers, Moneyduff, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Father of Teresa McGuinn, Calry, Sligo. Funeral mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dromahair this morning at 10.30am with burial afterwards in Creevelea Abbey.

 

Paula Doyle, Roshine Road, Killybegs, Co. Donegal. Currently reposing at her residence. Removal from there on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to St. Mary’s Church Killybegs for 11am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. House Private Please except for family and close friends.

 

Seamus Kivlehan, also known as Squib, Old Market St, Sligo. Peacefully at the North West Hospice. Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo this evening from 5pm  to  8pm. (Please note change of time) Funeral will arrive at St. Anne’s Church , Sligo on Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm  with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery afterwards. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the North West Hospice C/o Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo

Annie Thompson, Broughas, Enniskillen Co. Fermanagh. Remains reposing at the family home in Broughas until removal on Wednesday at 10.15am to arrive in St.Michael’s Church Enniskillen for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by interment in the Convent Cemetery Enniskillen.Enquiries to Peter Carty Funeral Director Garrison.

Maureen Kearns née Hamilton: Conway’s Cross, Drumnacool, Co. Sligo. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon this evening from 5pm until 7.15pm. Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Sooey arriving 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11am followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Oncology Unit, University Hospital, Sligo. House private please. Committal of ashes in Corrig Cemetery on Monday 13th June 2016 at 3pm.

 

Mary Agnes (known as Myra) Roddy, nee Doherty, Tullyhugh, Lavagh, Ballymote, Co. Sligo and formerly of Kilgarriff, Charlestown. Peacefully at Bailey’s Nursing Home, Tubbercurry. Funeral Arrangement later.

 

Catherine Kitty Stenson, Cloonagh, Charlestown, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at St. Attracta’s Nursing Home Charlestown. Remains reposing at her son Martin’s home in Cloonaughill, Charlestown this evening from 6pm. Reposing at St. Therese’s Funeral Home, Curry Village on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. She will be waked at her daughter Andrea’s home in Carrowilkeen on Wednesday night. Funeral mass on Thursday at 12 noon at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry with burial afterwards in Bunnacrannagh cemetery.
