Leitrim IFA to hold meeting on the future of farming tonight



Leitrim IFA are holding an important meeting on the future of farming in the county this evening in Drumshanbo.

The four TDs from Sligo Leitrim along with councillors and public representative have been invited along with farmers of the county to discuss a number of burning issues amongst the community.

The main subject to be discussed at the meeting will be forestry and its impact on rural farming. Forestry has become a very vocal issue within the county recently.

The meeting takes place at nine o’clock tonight in the Lough Allen Hotel.
