In North Leitrim, there are hopes that works at a ghost housing estate in Kinlough, which is to be sold tomorrow, Thursday, will eventually be completed.
There had been plans for over 100 houses, a primary health care centre and hotel at the Lough Melvin Forest Park.
At a meeting of the Municipal District of Leitrim County Council in Manorhamilton, Fianna Fail Councillor Justin Warnock asked what are the proposals for the estate.
He was told planning permission had expired, and new planning permission would have to be got before any works could start.
Councillor Warnock recalls how there had been big plans for the area during the Celtic Tiger era.
