Two men in court over Donegal drugs haul

Two men are to appear before Harristown District Court today charged in connection with a significant drugs haul in Co. Donegal last May.

 

The Chinese nationals, 44 year old Ming Sun and 35 year old Xia Hua He (PRO; GEE-WHO-HA) appeared before a special sitting of Sligo District Court on the 26th of May charged with possession, with intent to supply, and cultivation of cannabis at Trummon in  Laghey.

 

Over 1.6 million euro worth of cannabis was seized during the operation in County Donegal.

 

The two men were refused bail at the High Court.

 

Both men are to appear again at Harristown District Court today.
