Mark Quigley, Lee Lynch and Raffaele Cretaro got the goals as Sligo Rovers went nine points clear at the top of the Airtricity League Premier Division with a 3-1 defeat of Bohemians at the Showgrounds.
Over 3,000 fans turned out to see Quigley open the scoring with his eighth goal in eight league games after just 12 minutes.
Raffaele Cretaro got the second on 26 minutes, shooting low and hard into the net past Craig Sexton from inside the area.
And man of the match Lee Lynch got the third with a close range finish after a great team move just before the break.
Bohs went close to scoring early themselves, but defender Gavin Peers did superbly to clear Dave Mulcahy’s flick off the line in the 14th minute.
And Bohs were impressive in the second half, with Derek Pender hitting the woodwork just after the hour-mark.
Rovers had chances through Cretaro and Lynch again in the closing stages, before Pender finally hit the net for the visitors in the third minute of injury-time.
