A Donegal Senator is criticising plans which he says will see further health service cuts in the county.
Brian Ó Domhnaill says the HSE has confirmed plans to scrap the bus carrying Donegal patients to hospitals in Dublin.
He has described the decision as 'deeply disappointing' and has said patients who need to travel to Dublin for treatment will be directly impacted.
Senator Ó Domhnaill says the news today that the HSE is cancelling the service at the end of the month comes as another major blow to health services in Donegal.
He says he intends to raise the matter in Seanad Éireann at the earliest possible opportunity.
