Boxing Olympians invited to Bundoran

Two of Ireland's boxing Olympians will be invited to Bundoran.

The Town Council is to formally invite Belfast's Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan to the town to acknowledge their success at the 2012 London Olympics.
 
The motion was put forward by Independent Councillor Florence Doherty at today's meeting of the Local Authority.

The request will go to the two boxing bronze medallists inviting them to visit the town.
