Sligo school to give 1st Years iPads
A school in Sligo has taken the decision to provide first year's students enrolling in the college with iPads to avoid them having to carry heavy school bags.
Ballinode Community College will be only the second school in the country to offer this facility.
Each iPad will be furnished with a suite of learning apps and ebooks.
Principal Joe Carolan says this will revolutionise teaching and learning in the classroom.
